WispOS carries its own building guide, so what comes out is one plain file that isn't tied to the AI that made it.

FAQ before you ask her

What's WispOS, and who's Wisper?
WispOS is the app where your projects and apps live. Wisper is the assistant inside it that you talk to. Active AI is how she behaves: she acts on what you ask and comes back with the result.
Do I have to build apps to use it?
No. Get apps other people made from the App Store and use them; that's a whole way to use WispOS. Making your own is there when you want it.
Does Wisper do the work herself?
Mostly not, and that's on purpose. She answers what she can on the spot, and anything that's real work goes to the AI helper that owns that project. That keeps her free to talk to you while the work happens.
Which brain should I use?
Any you bring: Wisper and the helpers run on your own AI plan, not one of ours. WispOS works with Claude Code and Codex. A starting point from our founder's own use: think through ideas and tradeoffs with Codex, then have Claude Code carry out the plan. Write down the direction you chose and what a good result looks like, then review what comes back. Or stay with one. The app shows how much of your plan you've used and when it resets.
Where does my stuff live?
On your computer. Your projects, queue, decisions and logs are plain files in a folder you choose. The phone apps talk to your own computer, not to a server of ours.
Do I have to sit at the computer?
No. It can sit at home doing the work while you talk to Wisper from your phone. Her reports and decisions come to you as phone notifications, and you can answer from there.
Can Wisper book things or pay for me?
Not on her own. In the browser beside her she can fill in the form and get it right up to the button, but anything that buys, pays, sends or submits stops for your Allow on screen first. She never types a password, and banking sites open in a protected tab she can't see unless you let her.
What happens if I quit the app mid-job?
The job keeps going. Each run is its own process, and when you open the app again it picks every run back up from where it is.
Mac only?
No. WispOS runs on Mac and Windows with the same features, and there are iPhone and Android apps that connect to it.
How much will it cost?
Nothing. WispOS runs on the AI plan you already have, so there's no AI bill of ours to pass on. Free apps stay free, and when paid apps open in the App Store, WispOS keeps 15% of each sale.
Can I build with Claude, Codex or Cursor?
Yes, and with any other coding tool. WispOS carries a building guide that any of them can follow. What they make is a plain .wapp file you can install, hand to a friend or send to the App Store. Building guide.
How is this different from GPTs, Claude artifacts and Gemini Gems?
Those live inside one company's chat. A GPT runs in ChatGPT, a Gem in Gemini, an artifact in Claude. What you make for WispOS is a plain file on your own computer, opens beside Wisper, and doesn't depend on which AI built it.
