WispOS

Getting around the app

A tour of WispOS's screens: Overview, Wisper's page, the Queue, Projects, Activity, Usage, the browser and Settings, and the quick-open shortcut that gets you to any of them.

Updated

WispOS is one window with a sidebar. The sidebar is kept short on purpose: the screens you use every day, a few recent projects, and More for the rest.

Quick open

Press ⌘ K (Ctrl K on Windows) from anywhere in the app and type. It finds every screen and every project by name. It’s the fastest way around, and the only way to some things, like replaying setup or hiring a team.

The screens

Overview

The home screen, the one to glance at. At the top: the date, the time and the weather where you are. Under it, Working on: one row per piece of work running right now. Then three cards:

  • Decisions: what your teams need you to decide. See Decisions and action items.
  • Action items: things that are yours to do.
  • Queue: the latest of what you’ve asked for, with a link to the full list.

Wisper

Her page: the full conversation with her, with her animated portrait at the top. This is where real back-and-forth happens. See Talking to Wisper.

Queue

Everything you’ve asked for, oldest first, each with where it is: waiting, handed to a team, needs you, done. See How work gets done.

Projects

Every project your HQ knows about, as Active, Backlog or Archived, each with a strip of its recent activity. Open one for its own page. See Projects.

Activity

The record of what’s been settled: decisions you answered (with what you said), action items done, requests finished. Below it, the raw feed of everything that happened.

Usage

How much of your AI plan you’ve used, as percentages that fill up, and when each limit resets. It reads what your brain’s own tools report on this computer.

Browser

A browser built into the app, so Wisper can read and work the page you’re looking at with you. It also opens beside her conversation as a drawer, with tabs, and opens local files (pages, PDFs, pictures, Markdown and code, formatted) without leaving the app. See The browser beside her for what she can do in it and the gates that hold.

Settings

Grouped as General (look, sound, weather), Wisper & voice (her brain and what happens while you talk), Memory, Browser, Phone & sharing (your phone, and agents other teams share) and Folders (where HQ and your projects live).

Light and dark

WispOS has a light and a dark look. Choose in Settings → General.
