Timers and reminders
Ask Wisper to set a timer or a reminder in plain words. They survive a restart, and she comes back to tell you when they're due.
Wisper keeps timers and reminders for you. Ask from her page, the ⌥Space popup or your phone.
Setting one
Say it the way you would to a person:
- “set a timer for 4 minutes for tea”
- “10 minute timer”
- “remind me in 20 minutes to flip the laundry”
- “remind me at 3pm to call mom”
These plain phrasings are answered instantly, without waiting on the AI. Anything fancier (“remind me after lunch to send the invoice”) goes to her brain, which sets it the same way.
Checking and cancelling
- “how long is left on my timer?”
- “what timers do I have?”
- “cancel the tea timer”
- “cancel all timers”
When it’s due
Her popup slides in with a chime and says what the timer was for, even if you’re in another app. If her page is already on screen, the line simply appears in the conversation.
Limits
Up to 20 timers can run at once, and none can be longer than a week (that’s a calendar, not a timer).
They survive a restart
Timers are saved as you set them. Quit WispOS or restart your computer and they’re still there. One that came due while the app was closed is announced when it opens again.
